Taste-In, Taster John Downes, MW

John Downes is a highly experienced performer on the wine circuit. A Master of Wine since 1994, John has appeared on numerous TV and radio channels including Radio 4, BBC news programmes, GMTV, Sky, CNN and CNBC.

John also works with celebrity television chefs to present food and wine evenings and runs the wine courses at the Tante Marie School of Cookery. In addition, John has written for a variety of national and international magazines and newspapers including Decanter, Wine International, Wine & Spirit International, The Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph, Square Meal, Style and Journey.
