Taste-In, Taster Joe Fattorini.

Joe has been wine writer for The Herald in Scotland for over a decade. As well as writing for a variety of magazines and presenting regularly on radio and television, Joe works closely with the PGA TOUR and Tournament Players Club (TPC) network in the United States.


Originally a business academic, Joe worked widely as a radio and
television broadcaster for over ten years before managing Scotland's largest wholesale wine business, with The Scottish Parliament, Rangers and Celtic Football Clubs, Gleneagles, Turnberry and Loch Lomond Golf Club among his clients. Joe's wine lists won 'Scottish Wine List of the Year' and he is still in demand as a wine consultant for hotels and restaurants including fifi and ally, one of Retail Week’s ‘top 100 shops in the world’. In the US Joe works with the PGA TOUR and TPC to host events at golf tournaments and private clubs and publishes exclusive wine advice for TPC members.

As well as writing and contributing to several books on wine, Joe writes regularly for magazines including Decanter, Harpers Wine and Spirit, Wine and Spirit, Imbibe and Dram. He has judged wine competitions internationally and in the UK. As a wine presenter Joe has worked with clients including Turner Entertainment Group, Wine Australia, Ernst & Young, Standard Life and The St Michael’s Food and Wine Festival.
