Joanna Simon, award-winning wine writer of The Sunday Times, has a weekly wine column in The Sunday Times Style magazine and since 2004 has been one of Style’s team of cookery writers.

She contributes to a variety of other publications and before joining The Sunday Times was editor of Wine magazine and prior to that editor of Wine & Spirit magazine.

Her books include: ‘The Sunday Times Book of Wine’, ‘Wine: An Introduction’, ‘Discovering Wine’ and ‘Wine with Food’. As a broadcaster, she presented The Bottle Uncorked, BBC Radio 4’s first series devoted entirely to wine. Her television appearances have covered everything from matching food and wine, buying fine and rare wines at auction to vodka.
