Angela’s passionate and no-nonsense approach is matched with exceptional tasting skills; her taste buds were famously insured for £10 million by her previous bosses at Somerfield where she worked as chief wine buyer.

Angela is an experienced public speaker and regularly appears on radio shows including Radio 4 The Food Programme, Woman’s Hour, Radio London, and BBC local radio. She also hosts the main celebrity chef theatre at the BBC Good Food Show, and the BBC London Good Food Show, working alongside celebrity chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, Gary Rhodes, and Anthony Worrall-Thompson.

Angela has used her experience working with top chefs to hone her wine and food pairing skills, and now presents frequently on food and wine matching, both to consumer audiences and to consumer publications.

She is also a key judge at all the major UK wine competitions, such as International Wine Challenge, Decanter and International Wine and Spirit Competition.
